The Season 4 of Arrow opens 6 months after the season 3 finale, which included an explosion that left big baddie Ra’s al Ghul dead. Queen and his girlfriend Felicity left Starling City and are living in the suburbs, trying to lead a normal life.

Thea and Laurel track them down and ask them to come back to the city’s aid because a gang called the Ghosts are wreaking havoc. Once back in the city Queen reclaims the mantle of the Green Arrow. Soon a new evil rears its head in the form of Damian Darhk, played by Neal McDonough. Not all will escape his evil unharmed.

The series is shot in British Columbia, Canada. Season 4 has crossover episodes with sister shows The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl. Guest stars include Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer/ The Atom and Charlotte Ross as Donna Smoak.

Like previous seasons, season 4 features episodes that are heavy in the show’s overlying mythology, as well as stand alone episodes in which the threat is neutralized.
